Thamel Boutique Hotel - Kathmandu

I'll tell ya, the folks there were like family. Had a comfy room and every morning they set me up with a good breakfast I could take on the go! I was blown away when they even offered me take-away at 6:30am like it was second nature. The kindness stuck with me.

Lovely little place with DELIGHTFULLY HELPFUL staff especially the manager who went all the way to make your stay fine and well. Secure and best possible spot adjacent to the Garden of Dreams, Annapurna Ajima Temple, Durbar Square and Kaathe Swyambhu, the centre of the Thamel, and shops, bars, and restaurants close by. A huge variety of food options at a moderate distance from the venue.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Thamel Boutique Hotel, and I can't say enough good things about it. The manager and staff were attentive. The complimentary airport pickup was a major convenience, and even on the way to my room, I was greeted with warm smiles. My room was clean, spacious, and elegantly decorated with a great atmosphere to unwind. The air conditioning worked perfectly, essential for the bustling heat outside. Breakfast on the rooftop offered a fantastic selection of both Eastern and Western dishes, served in a lovely ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruits and made-to-order options. I did notice some noise from the hallways during the night, which could disrupt light sleepers. Despite that, I managed to get restful nights thanks to the comfortable bed. The hotel's location is excellent. You're right in the heart of Thamel, close to shops and restaurants. I had a good stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Great-sized and well-appointed rooms with a bed very comfortable, TV, secure location. Location not far from Thamel Boutique, the Kathmandu Durbar square, Thamel shopping market and the best eateries and the prime city area. Also, in the center of thamel walking distance for everything...

Really good service, especially when they packed me a breakfast to go at 6:30am. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and the rooftop dining offered delicious made-to-order breakfast.

Our experience was marred by the noise level in the hotel. We could hear conversations from the hallway as well as dragging chairs during the night, quite bothersome. I felt misled by the pictures on the website. I expected dessert options included in breakfast, but that wasn't the case at all.

I loved how comfy the bed was, and the room was surprisingly spacious with lots of natural light. Relaxing in the lounge while sipping tea and playing board games made my evenings special. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't take away from the experience. 😊

Superb spot right in the heart of the action! Staff was super helpful, and even the manager went outta his way to make sure we were set. Loved the breakfast options and the comfy ambiance! The on-site bakery is a plus!

The stay featured a good rooftop terrace perfect for sipping coffee while enjoying the views. Special mention goes to the packed breakfast provided at a very early hour, reflecting great care . Soundproofing could be improved, as noises from the hallway were noticeable at night, and I encountered a few delays with room service. A pleasant experience with good food options, including fresh fruit and local dishes.
